Practice management software

Run your practice. Own your software.

ChartCard handles scheduling, patient charts, billing and claims, and prescribing for independent practices. You pay once. It runs on a small server in your office. There is no monthly fee.

What it does

Everything the front desk and the exam room use every day

Scheduling

Book by provider and room, see the day at a glance, and keep recurring and follow-up visits straight.

Patient charts

Visit notes, history, and documents live on one card per patient, so the whole record opens in one place.

Billing and claims

Turn a finished visit into a claim, track what is open, and see what has been paid.

E-prescribing

Write and send prescriptions from the chart you are already in.

Pricing model

Buy it once, like equipment

Most practice software rents itself back to you every month for as long as you stay. ChartCard is sold the way you buy any other tool for the office.

Typical subscription EHR

  • Monthly fee per provider, indefinitely
  • Your records sit on the vendor's servers
  • Prices change when the vendor decides
  • Stops working if you stop paying

ChartCard

  • One-time purchase for a perpetual license
  • Records stay on your own server in your office
  • Upgrades are optional and paid when you want them
  • Keeps running on the version you bought

How it runs

A small server in your office, nothing to rent

Each practice gets its own on-site mini-server appliance with ChartCard installed. Licensing uses signed keys that are checked on the appliance itself, so the software never needs to phone home to keep working.

  1. We set up the appliance

It arrives configured for your practice, providers, and rooms.

  2. Your staff use any browser

Front desk and exam rooms open ChartCard from computers already on your network.

  3. You decide on updates

Add the optional update plan for new versions, or stay where you are.

Questions

Before you ask

Is there a monthly fee?

No. The license is a one-time purchase. The update plan is optional.

Where is patient data stored?

On the appliance in your office. Your practice controls the machine and who has access to it.

What happens if the internet goes down?

Because ChartCard runs on your local network and checks its license offline, your staff can keep working in the office.

Is ChartCard certified?

Certification status will be posted here as it is completed. Ask us for the current status during your demo.

Who built it?

ChartCard started as software for a working podiatry practice, built around how a small office actually runs its day.
